CAFE NEGRIL is Hiring a Bartender Near NEW ORLEANS, LA
Cafe Negril in New Orleans, LA is looking for one bartender to join our 42 person strong team. We are located on 606 Frenchmen Street. Our ideal candidate LOVES LIVES MUSIC AND PEOPLE. Is attentive, punctual, and reliable with over 3 years experience bartending.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Split tips with hourly equation
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
